Monash Community Arts Society Inc. (MONCAS) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting community art within and around the City of Monash.
Comprising a collective of artists and art enthusiasts, MONCAS collaborates to create avenues for members to engage in artistic expressions and connect with the wider community through shared art experiences
UPCOMING EVENTS
Art Connect
The Art Connect project, supported by the City of Monash, offers a range of engaging art sessions and workshops, along with a two-week MONCAS Members' Art Exhibition at The Track Gallery.
These monthly Art Connect sessions are open to the public and take place on the first Saturday of each month at the Mount Waverley Community Centre Craft Room.
Led by talented artists, including MONCAS members, these sessions provide participants with the opportunity to learn and explore various artistic skills.
Artist Practice Circle
MONCAS members only
Meet monthly to create in quiet focus or learn new techniques from fellow artists' demonstrations. A dedicated space for members to connect and grow.
Held on the first Saturday of every month, 12:30pm - 1:30pm. Craft Room, Mount Waverley Community Centre.
Sustainable City Workshops
Join us for Sustainable City Workshops - a 5-week hands-on program for kids aged 6-13.
Kids transform recycled materials into a giant, collaborative Futuristic City - one Saturday at a time!
Each session builds a different section, coming together as one spectacular installation for an exhibition at The Track Gallery in June.
